Air Fried Brownies

Indulge in the magic of melt-in-your-mouth brownies that have been given a healthier spin – a treat that satisfies your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1/2 cup Dark Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Dark Chocolate
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Neutral Oil (e.g., vegetable oil)
  • Pinch of Cinnamon Powder
  • 3 Large Ripe Bananas
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Chocolate Chips or Chunks (for topping)
  • Chopped Walnuts (for topping)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer at 200°C for about 3 minutes.
  2. Sift the wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and pink Himalayan salt into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the shredded dark chocolate chunks to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. In a blender, combine the ripe bananas, maple syrup, neutral oil, vanilla essence, and a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  5. Blend the ingredients until you have a thick and smooth mixture.
  6. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl containing the dry ingredients and chocolate chunks.
  7. Use a spatula to gently fold and mix everything until well combined.
  8. Grease a rectangular 6-inch baking pan with oil and line it with parchment paper.
  9. Transfer the brownie batter to the prepared pan and use the spatula to level it.
  10. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips or chunks on top of the batter, add chopped walnuts for extra flavour and texture.
  11. Place the baking pan in the preheated air fryer.
  12. Air fry the brownies at 175°C for 12-15 minutes.
  13. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, once cooled, use a sharp knife (greased with oil) to cut the brownies into your desired shapes and sizes.
  14. Garnish with more chocolate syrup if desired.
  15. Your delightful Air fried Brownies are now ready to be enjoyed. The air frying method ensures a crispy top and a fudgy center, making them a delicious treat.
