Avocado Egg Toast

Avocado Egg Toast: A treat that brings together the richness of avocado and the comfort of egg.

Ingredients:

  • Avocado
  • Eggs
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Butter (for brushing)

Directions:

  1. Cut the Avocado in half and remove the seed. Use a spoon to scoop out some flesh from the center, creating more space for the egg.
  2. Gently crack an Egg into the cavity of each Avocado half.
  3. Season with a pinch of Salt, Black Pepper, and a sprinkle of Chilli Flakes.
  4. Top each Egg-filled Avocado half with a layer of Mozzarella Cheese.
  5. Brush the outer part of the Avocado with a small amount of Butter. This will help prevent the Avocado from drying out.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 160°C for 5 Minutes.
  7. Place the Egg-filled and Cheese-topped Avocado halves in the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry the Avocado Egg Toast at 160°C for about 8 minutes.
  9. The Egg should be cooked to your preference. If you prefer a runny yolk, 8 minutes might be sufficient. For a firmer yolk, you can cook for a couple of minutes more.
  10. Once cooked, carefully remove the Avocado Egg Toast from the air fryer.
  11. Serve the Avocado Egg Toast as a delicious and nutritious breakfast or brunch option, combining the creaminess of avocado with the goodness of eggs.
