Burnt Basque Cheese Cake: A dessert journey that captivates the senses with its complexity and deliciousness.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Cream Cheese
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Condensed Milk
- 1/3 cup Cream
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 tbsp Corn Starch
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Mix until the sugar is well incorporated into the cream cheese.
- Add condensed milk and mix until smooth.
- Pour in the cream and mix well, add vanilla essence and mix again.
- Sprinkle corn starch and all-purpose flour (Maida) over the mixture.
- Mix until the starches are fully incorporated, and the batter becomes smooth.
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C 10 Minutes.
- Grease a baking pan that fits into your air fryer basket.
- Pour the prepared batter into the greased baking pan, ensuring it's spread evenly.
- Place the baking pan in the preheated air fryer.
- Bake the cake at 200°C for approximately 40 minutes.
- After the baking time, check the cake's doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center. It should come out with a few moist crumbs, as the cake is meant to have a creamy center.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a while before removing it.
- Once the cake has cooled, carefully remove it from the pan.
- The Burnt Basque Cheese Cake is ready to be served.
- The cake's outer layer will have a caramelized, burnt appearance, while the inside remains creamy and rich. Slice and serve this unique and delicious dessert.
