Indulge in the magic of tender cauliflower, bold sauces, and the ultimate snack-time satisfaction.
Ingredients:
- 1 cauliflower, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (Maida)
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1.5 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp oil (for greasing)
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour (Maida), salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, and enough water to make a thick batter. The batter should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, ensuring it's coated evenly.
- Roll the batter-coated cauliflower pieces in the crushed cornflakes until they are well coated. Press the cornflakes onto the cauliflower to ensure they stick.
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for 5 Minutes.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the coated cauliflower pieces in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry the cauliflower at 200°C for about 10 minutes. You can shake the basket or flip the cauliflower pieces halfway through to ensure even cooking. They should become golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Schezwan sauce, vinegar, and honey. Mix until well blended.
- Once the cauliflower pieces are air-fried and crispy, transfer them to a mixing bowl.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the air-fried cauliflower and gently toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
- Optionally, you can sprinkle sesame seeds and spring onion greens on top for added flavour and garnish.
- Serve and enjoy your homemade cauliflower wings hot as a delicious appetizer or snack.
