Chicken Malai Roast

Experience the warmth of comfort food and the indulgence of creaminess in Chicken Malai Roast.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg Half Butterflied Chicken
  • 1/3 cup Garlic
  • 1 pinch Ginger
  • 8 pods Cashew Nuts
  • 6 Green Chillies
  • 4 pods Cardamom
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/3 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 3 tbsp Hung Curd
  • 5 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 tsp Dry Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ghee (for brushing)

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine Garlic, Ginger, Cashew Nuts, Green Chillies, Cardamom Pods, Lemon Juice, and Coriander Leaves.
  2. Blend the ingredients into a smooth paste.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Hung Curd, the blended paste, Fresh Cream, Mozzarella Cheese, White Pepper Powder, Garam Masala, Chaat Masala, Dry Methi, and Salt.
  4. Mix well to form a marinade.
  5. Massage the prepared marinade onto the Half Butterflied Chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  6. Cover the chicken and refrigerate it overnight for optimal flavour.
  7. Preheat your air fryer at 180°C for 10 Minutes.
  8. Place the marinated Chicken in the air fryer basket.
  9. Air fry the Chicken at 180°C for about 20 minutes, turn the chicken after the first 10 minutes for even cooking.
  10. Once cooked, brush the Chicken Malai Roast with ghee to add a rich glaze.
  11. Remove the Chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
  12. Slice and serve the succulent and flavourful Chicken Malai Roast, perfect for a special meal or occasion.
