Corn Spinach Puff Patties

Ingredients:

  • Butter
  • Garlic, minced
  • Corn (fresh, frozen, or canned), cooked
  • Spinach, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • White Pepper
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Milk
  • Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • Puff Pastry Sheets

Directions:

  1. In a pan, melt a bit of Butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced Garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the cooked Corn and chopped Spinach to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until the spinach is wilted and the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Season the filling with Salt, a pinch of White Pepper, and Chilli Flakes according to your taste.
  5. Pour in a bit of Milk to create a creamy texture in the filling.
  6. Add crumbled Feta Cheese to the mixture, stirring until it's evenly distributed.
  7. Roll out the Puff Pastry Sheets on a clean surface.
  8. Cut the pastry sheets into squares or rectangles, depending on the size of patties you want.
  9. Spoon a portion of the prepared corn and spinach filling onto one half of each pastry square.
  10. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling, creating a triangle or rectangle shape. Press the edges gently to seal.
  11. You can use a fork to press down and seal the edges of the patties.
  12. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 5 Minutes.
  13. Place the assembled patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  14. Air fry the corn spinach puff patties at 180°C for about 10 minutes, flip or shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  15. Once air fried, allow the patties to cool slightly before serving.
  16. Serve the delicious Corn Spinach Puff Patties as a snack or appetizer.
