Lobia Kebabs

Air Fried Lobia Kebabs: A burst of taste and nutrition that brings together the goodness of lobia beans with the crunchiness of air frying.

  • 1½ cups Boiled Lobia (Black-Eyed Peas)
  • 3 Boiled Potatoes
  • ½ cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • 2 tbsp Quinoa Flour
  • 2 tsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled Lobia (Black-Eyed Peas) and boiled Potatoes. Mash them together well.
  2. Add Chopped Onions, finely chopped Green Chillies, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Black Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder, Chaat Masala, Quinoa Flour, Chopped Coriander Leaves, Lemon Juice, and Salt.
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to form a cohesive mixture.
  4. Take a portion of the mixture and shape it into kebabs or patties. You can use your hands to shape them or use a mold for uniformity.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 10 Minutes.
  6. Grease the air fryer basket or tray with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the shaped kebabs in the greased air fryer basket or tray. Ensure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  8. Air fry the Lobia Kebabs at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes, flip or shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  9. The kebabs should turn golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  10. Once the Lobia Kebabs are cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove them from the air fryer.
  11. Serve the hot and flavourful Lobia Kebabs as a delicious and healthier snack or appetizer.
