Mini Samosa Bites

Indulge in the symphony of textures and flavours as you savour each Mini Samosa Bite, a perfect balance in every nibble.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Blanched Green Peas
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Black Salt - as per taste
  • 1 tsp Coriander and Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (optional)
  • Samosa Sheets
  • Maida (All-Purpose Flour) - (to make the slurry paste)

Directions:

  1. In a pan, heat Oil and sauté the finely chopped Onion until translucent.
  2. Add the Blanched Green Peas and sauté for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the Boiled and Mashed Potatoes and mix well.
  4. Season with Black Salt, Coriander and Cumin Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala Powder, and optionally, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder. Mix until well combined. Allow the mixture to cool.
  5. Mix a small amount of Maida with water to create a slurry paste. This will be used to seal the samosa sheets.
  6. Take a Samosa Sheet and fold it into a cone shape, sealing the edges with the slurry paste.
  7. Fill the cone with a spoonful of the prepared filling.
  8. Seal the top of the filled cone by folding it over and using the slurry paste to secure the edges.
  9. Preheat your air fryer at 170°C for 5 Minutes.
  10. Place the filled and sealed samosas in the air fryer basket in a single layer, without overcrowding.
  11. Air fry the mini samosas at 170°C for about 10 minutes
  12. Once the mini samosas are cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove them from the air fryer.
  13. Serve the delicious Mini Samosa Bites hot with your favourite chutney or sauce.
