Panchamrit Cake

Panchamrit Cake: A delightful offering that combines tradition and taste in every mouthwatering bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 cup Suji (Semolina)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Curd, Milk, Ghee, Honey, Sugar, and Cardamom Powder.
  2. Gradually add Suji (Semolina) to the wet mixture. Mix well until everything is incorporated.
  3. Allow the Suji batter to proof for 10 minutes. This will help in the activation of baking agents.
  4. After proofing, add Baking Powder and Baking Soda to the batter. Mix gently to evenly distribute the leavening agents.
  5. Preheat your air fryer at 180°C for 15 Minutes.
  6. Bake the Panchamrit Cake in the Air fryer at 180°C for approximately 25-30 minutes.
  7. Insert a toothpick into the centre of the cake. If it comes out clean or with a few dry crumbs, the cake is done.
  8. Once baked, remove the Panchamrit Cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes.
  9. Gently remove the cake from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve the delicious Panchamrit Cake, which combines the flavours of curd, milk, honey, and ghee with the aromatic touch of cardamom.
