Paneer Kurkure amazing starter recipe, easy and quick to make.
If you are a big fan of paneer and an even more ardent lover of the crispy crunch and lingering aroma then this recipe is just for you!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced paneer (cottage cheese)
- Cornflakes for coating
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 1/4 cup curd
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp. oil
Directions:
- In a bowl, combine the corn flour, curd, salt, mixed herbs, chili flakes, and oil. Mix well to form a thick paste.
- Dip each slice of paneer into the paste, ensuring it is coated on all sides. Crush the cornflakes into small pieces and spread them out on a plate.
- Roll the coated paneer slices in the crushed cornflakes, pressing gently to ensure they adhere well.
- Preheat your air fryer at 180°C for 5 minutes.
- Place the coated paneer slices in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are evenly spaced and not overlapping.
- Cook the paneer Kurkure in the air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. You may need to flip them halfway through for even cooking.
- Once cooked, remove the paneer Kurkure from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the air fried paneer Kurkure hot as a snack or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
