Paneer Masala Fries

Experience the crunch and spice of India in every bite with Air-Fried Crispy Paneer Masala Fries!

Ingredients:

  • Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into fry-like strips
  • Chilli paste
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Carom seeds (Ajwain)
  • Cumin seeds
  • Coriander powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Corn starch
  • Orange food color (optional)
  • Salt
  • Oil or butter (optional, for coating)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, prepare a marinade by mixing 1 tsp Chilli paste, 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste, Carom seeds, Cumin seeds, 1 tsp Coriander powder, 1 tsp Red chilli powder, Corn starch, Orange food color (if using), Salt to taste.
  2. Add the paneer strips to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes.
  4. If using oil or butter, lightly coat the marinated paneer strips with a small amount of oil or melted butter. This will help enhance the crispiness.
  5. Place the coated paneer strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Air fry at 180°C for approximately 14 minutes. Flip or shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Once the paneer masala fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer.
  8. Serve the crispy paneer masala fries hot as a delightful appetizer or snack.
