Paneer Pizza

Treat yourself to a cheesy delight, Air-Fried Paneer Pizza, a desi spin on everyone's favourite pie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza base (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tsp Pizza sauce
  • 2-3 tsp Mayonnaise
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated (as much as you prefer)
  • Veggies of your choice (e.g., bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, olives, etc.), chopped
  • Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), diced or crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes (adjust according to your spice preference)
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • Olive oil (for brushing, optional)

Directions:

  1. Place the pizza base on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Spread the mayonnaise over the pizza sauce, covering the surface.
  4. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce and mayonnaise, ensuring the entire base is covered with cheese.
  5. Add the chopped veggies and paneer on top of the cheese, distributing them evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chilli flakes and oregano over the toppings for extra flavour.
  7. Optional: If you prefer a golden crust, you can lightly brush the edges of the pizza base with olive oil.
  8. Carefully transfer the prepared pizza to the air fryer basket. If your pizza base is larger than the air fryer basket, you may need to cut it to fit.
  9. Preheat your air fryer to 160°C for a 5 minutes.
  10. Bake the paneer pizza at 160°C for about 12 minutes, the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust turns golden brown and crispy.
  11. Once the pizza is done, carefully remove it from the air fryer.
  12. Slice the Paneer Pizza into pieces and serve hot.
