Paneer Tikka

Indulge in the smoky goodness of perfectly spiced paneer tikka. A delightful burst of flavors in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 tbsp mustard oil
- 2/3 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 250 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
- 1 finely chopped tomato
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3/4 cup water
Directions:
- In a large bowl, add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, kashmiri red chili powder, dry mango powder, black salt, garam masala, salt, kasuri methi, and lemon juice and mix well.
- Add paneer, diced onion, capsicum, and tomato cubes to the bowl. Coat them well with the mixture. Set aside for an hour to marinate.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes.
- Place parchment paper on the skewers then keep the marinated paneer, onion, capsicum, and tomato onto the parchment paper.
- Brush the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
- Air fry the paneer tikka at 180°C for 10 minutes or until they are cooked and slightly browned, flipping them halfway through the cooking process.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the air fryer.
- Serve the air-fried paneer tikka hot with mint chutney or any sauce of your choice.
